At Halloween Gear Sales, we understand that sometimes even the most carefully selected cursed items might not meet your expectations (or perhaps they exceeded them in ways you didn’t anticipate). Below you’ll find our policies for returning items from the mortal realm.
1. Who Can Return Items
We accept returns from:
- Living humans (verified by our spectral scanners)
- Orders placed within the last 30 days
- Items in their original, unopened packaging (unless the item itself is the packaging – see exceptions)
- Items that haven’t been used, worn, or summoned with
2. Items That Can’t Be Returned
For everyone’s safety, we cannot accept returns on:
- Used Bath & Body Works – Halloween products (once opened, they’re bound to your essence)
- Activated Animated Halloween Props (they develop attachments)
- Opened Air Fresheners (the scents escape to other dimensions)
- Any Body Parts from our Butcher’s Shop collection (for obvious reasons)
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Cursed Goods”
3. How to Initiate a Return
Follow these steps carefully (missteps may result in… complications):
- Contact our necromantic support team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number and photos of the items you wish to return
- Wait for our return authorization (typically 1-3 business days, longer during eclipses)
- Package the items securely with the original packaging (warding symbols recommended)

4. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned items (typically 3-5 business days after arrival at our warehouse):
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the return is due to our error
- For exchanges, we’ll ship the replacement once the return is processed (additional shipping may apply)
5. Damaged or Wrong Items
If you receive:
- A damaged item (beyond normal haunting wear)
- The wrong item (especially dangerous if it’s sentient)
Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and may provide a return shipping label for particularly egregious errors.
6. International Returns
For customers outside the UK:
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
- Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method (demons occasionally intercept untracked parcels)
7. Final Warnings
Before returning any animated items, ensure they’ve been properly deactivated according to the instructions. We cannot be held responsible for items that awaken during transit.
